I’ve had a very busy past week, and have not had a chance to do any new shows. So, I decided to issue a throwback, and go back to a podcast I did almost 5 years ago.
On May 14th, 2011, Lingo invited friends and family to the band’s Shabby Shack and hosted an epic event of music, pork, beer, fireworks, and more. Though it was a private invite, nearly 300 people showed up, surpassing all expectations! The only unfortunate thing was that this would be one of the last times the band would get together at the Shabby Shack.
Lots of great memories were made there, great stories we had on the road that started there. I will one day go into more detail about the times there and why it was a key spot that helped re-invigorate my joy of touring and performing music. And, to my knowledge, I still have the tapes and will one day unleash the full performance, warts and all, of all that went down there. Until then, minus some technical difficulties with the mics and a smoke machine that wouldn’t shut up, this podcast was a compilation of some of the more memorable moments from that awesome night!
